Crepuscular Rays
Crepuscular rays is a optical phenomenon which happen when light stream through space/gap between object. The light here, refer to the one from the Sun. Also, this phenomenon commonly happen during dawn or dusk, hence the name (crepusculum, Lat. means twilight). During this hours, the contrasts between light and dark are he most obvious.
This crepuscular ray look so beautiful. Almost looks like ray of Heaven reached out to the earth. Uniquely, so many name given for this phenomenon such as sunburst, sunbeam, sunray. Some of the names are religious such Jacob’s Ladder, God’s Ray, God’s Finger, Divine Light and many more, because this ray tend to appear in religious picture or as image of way toward the heaven.
